There is a saying that when a photographer wants or needs a new lens, they book a wedding and there is some truth in that. Wedding images can be the anchor to a photographer’s business and tend to pay pretty well. I have a lot of photography friend in my network so if I am in a situation where I am not available to work a wedding, I know I can turn my clients over to any number of local artists. I really enjoy the interaction with the couple and their families, as well as, the challenge of tackling the many problems that invariably pop up.
As a father of 6 when I get the chance to capture expecting I just feel blessed. I get to talk to the mom and produce the images they want to help them rmrmber the pregnancy and all the emotion involved.
