Turning wood bowls, vases, urns, etc. has long been interesting to me. My association with Artisan’s Haven, Ft Worth, Tx  led to an apprenticeship with a retired Marine and fine art wood turner.  I owe full acknowledgement and gratitude to his mentorship & patience … All I have to do to be a successful turner is to listen to him as he continually insisted … “be more patient and just finish the cut Russ”
