I served my internship with folks a www.arlingtonvoice.com and it’s editor Zach Maxwell. Photojournalism comes with it’s own special set of limitations and problems to solve. Being flexible enough to respond to events in a timely manner is only the most obvious issue but most importantly for a photographer there are standards for photojournalist that need to be adhered to and that puts the shooter “in a box” that pushes you to know your camera and photographic basic. I found it very energizing and I really learned a lot from the opportunities that “the Voice” offered me.
